Acclaimed by The New York Times as ‘one of the finest conductors of her generation’, JoAnn Falletta returns to the Waikiki Shell in her new role as Conductor Emeritus to perform selections from the operatic canon. Hear excerpts from Wagner’s epic Ring Cycle and Strauss’s Suite from Der Rosenkavalier.
This concert will feature a performance by Celina Lim, a winner of our 2023 Nā Hōkū ‘Ōpio Young Stars music competition.
